At Salina Public Library we are dedicated to serving as a cornerstone of knowledge and enrichment for individuals of all ages and backgrounds. From supporting early literacy development in children to providing invaluable resources for parents, gaurdians, educators and families, our doors are open to everyone.

With over 36,000 cardholders, includeing 11,660 youth and school cards, our impact extends far and wide thorughout the greater Salina community. In 2023 alone, we loaned 492,323 items, ranging from beloved books to unexpected treasures like board games and even a stud finder!

SPL is more than just a lending library. Our vibrant community hub hosted nearly 1,400 events in 2023, drawing in 27,324 eager patrons. Whether it's the magic of storytime of the serenity of yoga, there's something here for everyone.
