Community Housing Development Corporation of Central Kansas has completed and sold nine project homes in Salina since 2019. CHDO is seeking additional "project houses" within the community of Salina, along with funds to continue our mission of revitalizing neighborhoods and homes. CHDO is looking for opportunities to partner with the Salina community and to advocate for low-to-moderate income persons and families. CHDO's thrives on forward-thinking partners and volunteers!

CHDO purchases or is gifted a home in poor condition, renovates the home and sells it at a minimal profit or sometimes at a loss to ensure low and moderate income persons have safe, affordable housing. Our aim is not to make money, but to provide an afforable, quality home for families who may otherwise struggle to find suitable housing in their price range.
