Women Helping Women Fund

Specific Need

Women Helping Women has established an endowed fund in the Greater Salina Community Foundation. Gifts to the fund are permanent, and income is used to make the annual grants. The larger the fund, the more grants we will be able to make.

Along our journey, the donors and Fairy Godmothers may also choose to make donations to provide dollars for immediate grant making.

Mission

Women Helping Women is a way for women to support other women who are struggling and may be in crisis. Through an application process, women who need emergency assistance for goods or services available in our community can receive help from the fund. Examples might be car repair, dental care, air conditioning or plumbing repair, short term assistance with child care or a host of other possible needs.
