Specific Need

We are in the development and growth phase of our endowment fund. All contributions and matching funds will add to our endowment.

To the extent possible, our intent is to use our endowment earnings for those needs not normally within the scope of the church's annual operating budget. All funds are held and managed by the Greater Salina Community Foundation.

Mission

Church of the Cross - United Methodist, Salina, Kansas is a Caring Community reaching out to transform lives through Knowing, Loving, and Serving God!

The Church's Endowment Fund receives gifts that look to the future and enhance the ability of our Church to promote its ministries and care for its property. Gifts to this fund will serve to keep the mission of Church of the Cross alive and growing, and continue a legacy for generations to come so that they may know Christ.

Profile

Church of the Cross United Methodist seeks to deepen faith experiences within our community.  Spiritually robust fellowship is a key value of our church and is demonstrated through our missional outreach throughout the community.  We practice Acts of Service with an eagerness to serve others and by using the resources that God has given to us.  Christian Formation begins with our daycare and continues through small group studies and fellowships with persons in Salina and throughout the country.   Lives of persons in need are touched by our outreach programs where God’s love makes a difference in their future.  Our ability to continue to impact lives is aided by the Match Madness event and the growth of our Endowment Fund for a more secure future.
