Donate to help our campus's competitive aviation teams succeed! Your donation will help support our Flight Team and Women's Air Race Classic team to be able to travel and compete in regional and national competitions.
Mission
K-State Salina's goal is to support our competitive aviation teams to be able to experience and travel to regional competitions. Our campus's Flight Team and Women's Air Race are nationally competitive student aviation teams. The competitions they attend serve as opportunities for student flyers to demonstrate their knowledge, judgement and flying skills in a competitive environment.
Your donation will allow students to attend these important flight competitions where they apply what they have learned in the classroom alongside other premiere aviation programs and qualified pilots. They also get to network with industry and possible employers!
Profile
K-State Salina's competitive aviation teams compete each year, oftentimes in both regional and national competitions. The Flight Team has a long, storied tradition of placing in the top three of their region and competing for national awards. The Women's Air Race has participated in the last two Women's Air Race Classics, a female-only competition where K-State Salina students race across 10 states over the course of three days. This experience is helping to grow a great sense of belonging for females in the aviation industry.
Both teams are an integral competitive part of our campus and are engaged in the aviation community as well as locally.
